The Sky is on Fire

As I glanced at the window, the blinds glowed of red

I knew I must hurry, before the colors have fled

I grabbed for my coat, but not a thing on my feet

Just me and my lenses running quick down the street

The sky has caught fire

The clouds are ablaze

That moment was captured

Before it vanished to haze

After the fire burned out, I scurried quickly to warmth

I'm making the most of the bitter cold north.
