Jeremiah Coin & My Testimony:

Actual coin mentioned in this story!

Revelation 12:11a NIV They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;

Testimonies are very powerful!

Mine started back in 2010. My Uncle passed away and we were staying a weekend in the cabin he left behind for the last time before my family would put it up for sale. I had just started dating my now wife. I had never went to church out of my own free will. My father's father was a pastor and made a huge impact in my life and I didn't know it until later on in life. We had went to church with him only a handful of times.

The weekend I was visiting my Uncle Steve's cabin up north would turn out to be the awakening of something inside me I had never dreamed possible. I was arguing with my brother through texting, he was back at home in Burton MI. My mother kept telling me to just put the phone down and enjoy my time away from the worries of life so I tried. We all agreed to go up to the shop on the side of the lake in town. We spent about an hour in the cabin walking around looking at souvenirs and t shirts.

When we walked out I sort of fell behind thinking to myself and caught the glimpse of a coin smashed into the ground. Intrigued I picked it up and read it. On one side was Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." On the other side was Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;" I kept reading the coin over and over flipping it back and forth and placed it in my pocket not thinking much of it.

When we arrived back at the cabin I asked my mother out of the blue, "Mom, when was the last time I was here with you and we were visiting Uncle Steve and Aunt Joanne at their cabin"? She thought about it and replied "You were in my womb". I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out the coin. I read Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart". The divine organizer was there that day. Weaving it all together. His timing is perfect and his love is extravagant. "Thank you Father. Until we are face to face."
